Hi, I’m Libby — artist, lifelong creative, and former Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
For many years, my professional life was rooted in social work. It was meaningful work that allowed me to witness the incredible capacity we all have for growth and change. I’m grateful for what that chapter taught me and for the people I had the privilege of working alongside.
Over time, the demands of the work began to take their toll. I found myself experiencing the kind of burnout that made me realize I needed to step back and take a closer look at what I was missing in my own life.
The answer, it turns out, had been with me all along: creativity.
Long before I became a counselor, I was a kid who loved to draw, paint, make things, and explore anything that allowed me to bring an idea to life. Creating was never just a hobby; it was a way of expressing myself, making sense of the world, and experiencing a deep sense of joy and possibility.
This chapter isn't about having everything figured out. It's about growth, curiosity, taking creative risks, and becoming more fully myself along the way. My background in mental health taught me a lot about the messy, beautiful process of being human — and I think those lessons naturally find their way into what I create.
Now, I'm inviting you along for the journey.
Whether you’re here because a piece of my art speaks to you, you’re curious about what I'm making next, or you’re on your own journey of reconnecting with the parts of yourself you've put aside, I’m so glad you’re here.
Take a look around, follow along, find a piece that makes you smile, and maybe let my story remind you that it’s never too late to make room for something you love.
Come grow, create, and dream with me. And if something I make finds its way into your home, even better!
